As the major exhibition ‘Evert Thielen – De Luiken Open’ begins, the Venlo city center including Arcen and Steyl will come alive with VenloVerlicht. This is a unique open-air exhibition running from September 7 2024 until February 23 2025. House of Confetti is proud to contribute an art piece to this illuminating event.

VenloVerlicht will feature around 50 artworks displayed on lampposts, including our contribution called ‘We Are One’.

About ‘We Are One’
This artwork is a celebration of diversity and unity, a beacon of hope and connection. It shows that beauty can be found in everyone, especially in imperfections. The two faces represent that everything becomes more interesting from different perspectives, which offers new insights. The eyes reflect the soul, while the breasts represent life. Through the use of different colors, textures and techniques it emphasizes that we all live different lives that shape our bodies, but are united here as one.

This exhibition is particularly enchanting to visit at night when the artworks truly come to life under the glow of the city lights, creating a magical atmosphere that highlights the beauty and message of each piece. For more info and the route click HERE.
